Studies in all fields at the University of Economics and Humanities can be pursued in full-time and part-time modes.
1. MANAGEMENT
Three-year undergraduate studies in the field of management aim at the following goals:
providing for students theoretical and practical knowledge involved with management and marketing within the afore mentioned specialties and specializations.
preparing graduates for starting and developing their professional career in Poland and the European Union,
giving students the opportunity to gain international certificates and FEDE diplomas,
preparing graduates for the continuation of studies on MA courses.
Two-year postgraduate studies in the field of management aim at the following goals:
making access to the theory and practice in the field of management and related subjects within the area of general and specialised modules,
broadening Students' knowledge in the field of marketing management ( specialised modules)
preparing the students to handle the tasks in firms and institutions in the following areas
- Negotiations in business
- Managerial accounting
- Promotion and advertising
- International marketing
enabling the Students to obtain international certificates and FEDE Diplomas,
developing Students' skills in interpersonal communication, effective communication and negotiations
preparing the postgraduates to solve decision- making problems,
preparing the postgraduates to take up Doctoral degree research,
preparing the postgraduates to diagnose and making prognoses concerning business activities of a firm.
2. PHILOLOGY
The undergraduate degree studies in the field of philology with a specialization in English and a specialization in German are aimed at attaining the following goals:
education of specialists depending on the chosen specialization (teachers, Business English specialists, English language translators),
preparing students for the continuation of studies on MA courses,
giving students the opportunity to gain international certificates and FEDE diplomas,
preparing graduates to start and develope their professional career in
the market economy environment.
Education in the field of philology is pursued on a three- or four-year system, depending on the language fluency of the candidate. After entering the school there is a language qualification test on the basis of which the candidate is admitted to the three- or four-year system. The aim of the first year in the four- year system is to improve practical language skills; it is to make the students fulfill the initial requirements of the three-year system.
The postgraduate degree studies in the field of philology with a specialization in English and a specialization in German are aimed at attaining the following goals:
making access to the theory and practice in the field of language and culture study and related subjects within the area of general and specialised modules,
broadening Students' knowledge in the field of specialised modules,
developing academic skills such as critical analysis of the sources, choosing the relevany argumentation to proove their theses and hypotheses,
3. POLITICAL SCIENCE
Three-year undergraduate degree studies in the field of political science are aimed at pursuing the following goals:
providing for students theoretical and practical knowledge involved with the functioning of the modern state, law, and international relations in all possible aspects, which shape the form of culture and civilization at the end of 20th and the beginning of 21st century
giving students the opportunity to gain international certificates and FEDE diplomas
preparing students for the continuation of studies on MA courses,
preparing graduates for starting and developing their professional career in the market economy environment.
