3. Academic publishing activity, The Higher School of Economics and Humanities from the beginning of its existence has attached great importance not only to the quality of education but also to research and scientific development in a wide sense of the term, according to the profile of study.
One sign of these efforts was the decision to publish the professional journal “Zarządzanie, Inżynieria, Finanse” (Management, Engineering and Finance) number ISSN 1427-3853. The authors of the majority of the articles are employees from the research and teaching faculty of the school.
Due to expansion of the educational spectrum of the humanities and due to the change of the school’s name, dictated by this expansion, to the Higher School of Economics and Humanities, the School since 2000 has published on its own a quarterly entitled “Ekonomia i Humanistyka” (Economics and Humanities), number ISSN 1509-5258.
At present, two new quarterlies, one on economic issues and the other on questions in the humanities, are being created. Meanwhile “Ekonomia i Humanistyka” is distributed among students and employees of WSEH and is also sent to various libraries of schools of higher education in Poland, and to authorities in management, marketing, philology and political science.
